Changes in CPT IPCC and CA Final Examination Fees From Nov / Dec 2015

 ICAI has given a notification about ” Increased Fee Details For CPT, IPCC and CA Final Exams From Nov / Dec 2015 “. ICAI increased examination fees applicable from Nov / Dec 2015 for CPT, IPCC and CA Final exams. See below revised examination fee for cost of application form, Cost of online exam forms, CPT, IPCC and CA Final exams fee, Late fees details, Fee for verification of marks, Fee for issue of duplicate mark sheet, Fees for issue of duplicate pass certificate etc. Read below official notification.

. All fees are to be paid, only by way of a Demand Draft, drawn in the name of the “The Secretary, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at New Delhi. Examination fees, verification fees, fee for supply/inspection of certified copies of evaluated answer books can also be paid online through payment gateway at http://icaiexam.icai.org by using debit/credit card.

Late fee for submission of examination forms beyond the prescribed last date
Rs 600/- (USD 1 0/-) for submission of examination forms beyond the prescribed last date but before the extended last date for submission with late fee. This is applicable for Final and Intermediate IPC Exam only and not for CPT.

CPT examination fees
a) OMR (Physical) forms: Rs 1500/- ( Including cost of the form of Rs 1000/-)b) On-line forms: Rs 500/- ( cost of exam forms is Nil)
c) For those opting for overseas centres (other than Kathmandu): USD 160/- (including cost of exam application form of USD10/-)
d) For those opting for Kathmandu centre: INR 1,850/- (including the cost of exam application form of Rs 1000/-).

There is no provision for submission of CPT examination forms with late fee.

Fee for verification of marks
3(a)
Fee for verification of marks (For Final and Intermediate (IPC)
Rs100/- per paper subject to a maximum of Rs 400/- for both the groups. The application is to be submitted within one month from the date of declaration of result. Request for verification of marks/answer books can be submitted(a) online athttp://icaiexam.icai.org and the fee can be paid online by debit/credit card or(b) by way of a handwritten requestaccompanied by a demand draft for the applicable fee.
3(b)
Fee for verification of CPT (OMR) answer sheets
Rs 200/- with a handwritten request letter. The application is to be submitted within a month from the date of declaration of result

Late fee for submission of application for verification of marks
There is no provision for submission of application for verification of marks with late fee.

Fee for supply/inspection of certified copies of evaluated answer books
Rs 500/- per paper, for applications received within 30 days from the date of declaration of respective result.No provision for submission of request with late fee.The application is to be submitted within a month from the date of declaration of result.Request for inspection or supply of certified copies of evaluated answer books can be submitted

Chartered Accountant Course New Scheme From 2016


Chartered Accountant Course New Scheme From 2016. We have already known that The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced new ca syllabus from 2016. This notification contains How to become Chartered Accountant through foundation route or direct entry route, Name and Number of Papers in Foundation, Inter and Final syllabus from 2016 and other training details like  Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS), Practical Training and Advance Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills(AICITSS).


In Foundation course Paper 2 and Paper 4 will be Objective type papers and remaining are descriptive papers. ICAI didn’t remove Information Technology and StrategicManagement Paper in CA IPCC Group – 2 and also ICAI didn’t remove Information Systems Control and Audit paper in CA Final. Read remaining changes as per new syllabus in CA CPT, IPCC and CA Final from May 2016 !!


Chartered Accountant Course New Scheme | Foundation Route

Revised Scheme: Route I – Foundation Course
Under the Foundation Course Route, the following steps are required
1. Register with Board of Studies (BoS) after appearing in Class XII till June 30/Dec 31.

2. Be eligible to appear for Foundation examination after passing Class XII examination. The first Foundation examination can be taken in November/May, as applicable, following passing of Class XII examination.

3. Qualify Foundation Course.

4. Register with the BoS for the Intermediate Course.

5. Complete 8 months of study

6. Appear and Pass in either or both Groups of Intermediate Course
7. Successfully complete Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology andSoft Skills (ICITSS) before commencement of the practical training
8. Register for Three years Practical Training on passing either or both the Groups of Intermediate.
9. Register for the Final Course after qualifying both the Groups of Intermediate Course.
10. Successfully complete Four Weeks Advanced ICITSS during the last two years of Practical Training.
11. Complete Practical Training.
12. Appear in Final examination after completion of practical training and Advanced ICITSS.
13. Become Member.
Note: ICAI has decided in principle the above mentioned Scheme. However, the scheme will be notified inthe official Gazette in due course.

Chartered Accountant Course New Scheme | Direct Entry Route

Revised Scheme: Route II – Direct Entry Route
The ICAI allows Commerce Graduates/Post-Graduates (with minimum 55% marks) or Other Graduates/Post-Graduates (with minimum 60% marks) and Intermediate level passed students of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Cost Accountants of India to enter directly to its Intermediate Course. The following steps are required to be undertaken by the eligible Graduates and Post Graduates under this route:
1. Register with the BOS for the Intermediate course (provisional registration allowed to the students doing Final year of graduation).

2. Successfully complete Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology andSoft Skills (ICITSS) before commencement of the practical training.

3. Register for Three Years Practical Training.

4. Appear in Intermediate Examination after Nine months of Practical Training.

5. Qualify Intermediate Course.

6. Register for the Final Course after qualifying both Groups of Intermediate Course.

7. Successfully complete Four Weeks Advanced ICITSS during the last two years of Practical Training.

8. Complete Practical Training.

9. Appear in Final examination after completion of practical training and Advanced ICITSS.

10. Become Member
Note: Candidates who have passed Intermediate level examination of ICSI or ICWAI and enter the CA Intermediate course directly shall be treated at par with Foundation passed students and shall have to undergo the CA course in the manner ak into the Foundation passed students.

Chartered Accountant Course New Scheme | Intermediate Course

There are 8 papers in CA IPCC new scheme from 2016. In previous notification ICAI said that they are going to remove Information Technology and Strategic Management Paper from CA IPCC Group – 2 completely. But in new notification, Information Technology &Strategic Management paper also included.  In new syllabus Direct tax laws for 60 marks and Indirect tax laws for 40 Marks. Duration: 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft skills and 2 weeks for IT)
When to complete: Students registering for the Intermediate course shall be required to do ICITSS before commencement of practical training.
Assessment Test: An assessment test shall be conducted at the end of the course which the students have to qualify for being able to appear in the Intermediate examination.

Practical Training

Duration of Practical Training: Three Years
Commences after completing Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills(ICITSS) and passing Either or Both Groups of Intermediate.
For direct entrants coming through Graduation and Post Graduation route, the practical training commences immediately after they complete four weeks ICITSS.

Advance Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS)

Duration: 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft skills and 2 weeks for Advance IT)
When to complete: Students undergoing Practical training shall be required to do AICITSS during the last 2 years of Practical training but to complete the same before appearing in the Final Examination.
Assessment Test: An assessment test shall be conducted at the end of the course which the students have to qualify for being eligible to appear in the Final Examination.
